  My boss gave me about 10 minutes to draw up an ad for our local paper. I did one handed it to him and said 'i'm only half sorry for giving you total shit, 'cos that's what you get for 6 minute's effort.'

  He gave it straight back to me and said 'i'll ring and get the deadline extended. do it again.' We both learnt from that one; he learnt to give me more time, and I learnt he won't tolerate complete shite.
