  real scientists have been researching the causes and lobbying governments to do something about pollution for DECADES because of the green house effect. there's been exceedingly little on the 'non man made global warming' beyond news editorials and big oil funded papers that have only really sprouted up in numbers recently. I mean you can't really 'oppose global warming' then tell the world its not real if there wasn't something pretty substantial already going on and being discussed.
