Doesn't it bother you that Democratic administrations refused to exactly this as well (Darfur, Clinton)? I know you're focusing on the economy with this point, but you're not dong it in a way that keeps your perspective balanced. It's not always Bush to blame. Republicans aren't always the evil side of a coin you can flip to when the deficiencies of your own party affiliations become too glaring for you to stare at.
