When I worked in a pizza hut whilst at uni. I smoked and would say on a four hour shift have about three cigarettes, I would be in charge if the kitchen manager was not on duty as I was the kitchen trainer (next rank down from them he he), so whoever was on the shift with me I would say just let me know when you want a 15 minute break or three 5 mins breaks, as I thought it only fair because I was able to go for a fag.
