no, right there in front of you. he's got like a foot stomp, and two-handed crush. before he goes into either of those (he'll be looking you square in the face) use that time to take out manjini and when he starts to rear back, then hold down the fire button on him. it takes a certain amount of hits for him to 'retract' and not follow through, so you've got to perfect the manjini-to-ndesu crossover.. hehe.
also, another good time to take out manjini is right when sheva yells, "there's something wrong with him". right then you have about 3 seconds to fire at the sides before ndesu will try to tackle you.
