i place my order for the 959NF samsung. it seems to be even better than MB and the price difference is very small.
as far as i know (and i've done a lot research) the lg 19" is cheaper but samsung actually can outdo it in the herz business (although the difference is very small).
as for dual monitor thingie. buy a decent graphix card (i'm buying MSI Geforce FX 5600) that has a DCI output as well as the regular RGB output. then buy a small thingie that turns your DCI into RGB (with my old Matrox card it was already in the box), and just plug your second monitor into that. the second ones herzes will be lower but people usually use their primary monitor for the important stuff (ie. they look at it more than at the second one).
well, at least this is what i am doing...
