have you ever been about out the door and only require that one last print to exit your printer and one of the ink wells dries up? i was reading an article in the green section of some publication and a tip i recalled from this writing made it possible for me, the printer's owner and caretaker, to be in charge once more of the situation. a situation that was wrenching my plans.
i removed the cartridges and heated them with the hairdryer for a few minutes. the remaining bits of stubborn ink were warmed and able to flow onto the paper. fucking hell i felt like macgyver.
- it doesn't take much for me to be impressed with myself, admittedly._salisae_
- Hey, anything that makes you feel like mcguyver is good in my book. Frankly, it's the little things like that that make life good.ian
- Top tip - always print one more than required. Then if the last print goes blotchy - just throw it away.Nairn
