    ^ Yeah, the invite-only comes are a catch 22, because whomever is commissioned to design those books is usually both judge and jury, and they look for designers that are getting published in competitions.

    The competition books are things like Graphis, D&AD, Type Director's Club, etc... and then, every design magazine has their design, advertising, illustration etc. annuals.
