My one grandmother was in early stages of it, or she was just losing her marbles completely towards the end.
I hadn't been an active part on that side of the family in more than like 15 years, but apparently she would randomly yell out, "Will someone get Baby Jerry to stop running around the house and let him loose outside!" and other things, haha.
When she was talking about her will with her kids, she asked what they would do with the money she was giving them ... after hearing what they would do (they all said answers they thought she wanted to hear) ... she went, "Hell, if you're not going to do anything fun with it - I'm giving it all to the church."
I really appreciated the last "fuck you" she let loose there when I heard the story, hahah. She did leave me money out of all people, but I've never seen it, and obviously never will.
Full-blown Alzheimer's ... I mean I'm not entirely close to anyone really that would worry me if they got it. My mom probably, but my Nana is still quite sharp so I don't think she'll get it.
Lord knows I'll be dead way before I can get it, haha.
