im not sure how hereditary alzheimers really is... my grandmother has it now, but she is the first in our entire bloodline to have gotten it..
its a really horrible thing to witness someone going thru as they lose everything of who they once were and fall into a child's mind state. my grandmother has no more ability to talk or even do anything... she just sits there lost in her world...
i feel for your wanting to know more about it... i would look into finding out if anyone else in your bloodline has ever had it...
it sucks to hear about alzheimers.
