So get this.
I was talking on the phone with my sis yesterday and the subject of my grandparents on my Fathers side came up. We never met them, as of why we really do not know the full story. We know that my Father hasn't spoken or even mentioned them since he was 18. I think I remember him saying they were dead when I was around 12, but it turns out they didn't pass until around 13 years ago. I am now 35 for those that don't know. Ireally don't know what happened and have been trying to get the nerve to ask my dad the story. From what I gather the children were disowned and there was some mental issues going on with the parents.q
So with that explained... She told me that she found out that his father had sever alzheimer's towards the end. Turns out the his wife died and for 3 days he didn't know the difference. For 3 days he was by himself with her body, and he was that of child. She said when people finally came over to see what was going on, it was like a scene out of a movie.
Some pretty heavy shit. I don't even know their names.
