A couple Christmases ago, I was with my family down in Austin, TX. We were at an uncle's house, and some of my uncles and cousins were watching all these f'ing horrible guitar noodling videos - dorks playing classical stuff and Cannon in E whatever all finger tapping, hammers, or on double neck guitars. They were just bewildered by this stupid, God-awful excuse for musical entertainment - the equivalent to solving a complex math problem in terms of pure boredom to me.
Anyhow, I took over the computer and put on the Clapton Shred that you see above, and they just didn't get it. I didn't tell them it was a joke, I just said "even a guy like him has an off night," and i can't quite describe the way they perceived. It was like they had been had, or as if I was showing them gay porn or something. They were so confused.
