  Obama always ran on the platform of health care reform, energy reform, yes.

  When you say binge spending I think you are looking at it the wrong way. Would it be binge spending to spend money to repair your car if the battery was crapping out? Would it have been binging for the government to spend more on the levies around New Orleans?
