gabe - some of the reasoning behind the stuff coming out of the can is that they are mostly NZ icons of sort. Now I understand thats not obvious but as its a personal peice I felt I could justify it.
I completely understand your labelling of it as somewhat generic. I certainly wouldnt use those types of assets in a commercial project unless they were relevant.Also Im going to look into the "8" issue as it seems to be popping up.
