uber.. don't get a cannondale, your money can't be spent so much better on other bikes.
kona, rocky mountain, specialized, santa cruz... much better choices.
and get an all-mountain bike with rear suspension. doesn't have to be a big heavy bouncy FR or DH beast. they make some pretty light full suspension bikes that climb well.
