You might want to chop that up into demi html and check the file size, if people care about that sort of thing these days.
If it were me, I'd darken your textured footer for contrast. I'd also cut out some of the space between the top and the main body content.
One last thing - the divide between the two leader images is a bit clumsy - I like that there's a golden ratio colour divide, but am not sure about the left-image composition, context or division.
