Take some requests from your fiance and make sure at least half the songs in the playlist are hers. This is a good concept to apply to many different aspects of your marriage.
Me, I made my half'n'half mix with a twist- all her tracks were traditional Spanish love songs- the kind her abuela sings while making tamales. Try making a coherent mix of that + house/soul/disco music!
