i have been using lynda.com for the last year. it has proved very useful.
>> I needed to learn a few things about after effects; puppet and depth of field - and i easily found a tutorial that walked me through it
>>I needed to learn Captivate quickly. I had 3.0 and the training was 2.0, but it didn't matter, in a couple of hours I learned everything I needed to learn
>>I wanted to learn AS3 for the first time and I went through several tutorials that gave me an excellent start.
>>After several years of not working directly with web pages, I needed a refresher is CSS. In a couple of hours, I was back up to speed.
True, you can find free tutorials for just about anything online, but for convenience, if you can afford it, not a bad way to go.
I'd be interested to know if anyone know of any competitor's to Lynda.com that approach it's scope and organization.
