    this is old, but i just stumbled on it via fallow's recent post.

    i bought a subscription recently, about three months ago, it's still active. i don't use it as much as i had hoped, but when i do need it, it's there, which is quite nice.

    in my opinion (from my experience with it), their stuff is great for learning a program from front-to-back, but if you're already familiar with an app, and just need tips or tutes on quick things, you can google for free.

    i still wont cancel my subscription, but i do think you could get roughly the same effect for free online, depending on exactly what you need though.
