I have to agree..
here in california you can see a lot of college kids that have no intention to use their computers other than myspace and word are choosing apple, and I think a lot of that is based purely on the logo.The mac air is the perfect example of that, the most ridicule overpriced computer on the market, and people still buy it.
so while I don't agree the only difference is "the apple logo" I do agree, a lot (maybe most) of the recent sales are a reaction to amazing marketing and impeccable image apple has gained.
