funny story, next to that police station I mention in the notes, a pal was walking home and was approached by a toothless junkie hooker, who propositioned him. After he told her to sling it, she followed him up the street shouting at him and claiming he owed her 15 for a fucking blow job. other hookers and rent boys started to appear until they formed a small mob, intent on doing my friend some harm (remember this is right next to the biggest police station in the country). Just as it was about to get bad though, the cavalry arrived. The Police? no, a big nasty looking pimp pulled up in a car and told my friend to get in. Rather scared he did so, thinking something REALLY bad was going to happen. The pimp drove him round the corner away from the hooker mob and let him out, without a word. My grateful friend pounded on him as fast as his little legs would carry him.
