that could be an exact description of Glasgow in many ways. I think the way they do the show though, that if you loive in any city in the developed world you probably see parallels. That's kind of the point. The death of industry and community, the crime, the corruption in local government, the schools constantly fire fighting, lost generations, systemic problems with gang culture, all that stuff...
