Shari, I know what you mean. Personally, I try to hide as much as possible in public.
This happens to my friend far more often though. One guy actually stared at her the entire time he got off the bus, and then kept staring while the bus was driving away (with her on it). I witnessed it one time. Other times, older men want to talk to her and be creepy in general. She tries to listen to her music or look like she is occupied, but it never works.
