In 1953, a chemist called Norm Larsen was trying to produce a substance to prevent whiskey dick. He was working for a company called the Pocket Rocket Chemical Company, and they were trying to design a product for use in the occasion one found themselves in an intimate embrace after drinking heavily. The principle on which they were basing their product was to prevent whiskey dick, thereby increasing unwanted pregnancy. Eventually, Norm Larsen successfully produced the finished product that he had been striving for, but it had taken him forty attempts at jellying his inebriated dong into a test subject va-jay-jay! And so was born WD-40........ Whiskey Dick at the 40th attempt!
