My mom called my office because I didn't say bye to her before I left, and I usually do (I'm like the only one out of my siblings who is consistent with telling her where I am going...just by habit, I guess). She called my old office number and got my co-worker instead, so she tried my cell. I answered, and after she asked why I didn't tell her I was leaving, she asked if I had eaten breakfast, heh. I did say bye to her, but it was very meek, as she was being her moody self this morning and called me some interesting names.
Bahh, It's very hard to either dislike her or like her.
- Do you think this good-bye ritual will continue after you've left the nest?dropdown
- I don't think so, as long as I visit her once in a while.juhls
- She may just have been worried about me, since I usually say "bye" to her.juhls
- audibly...I mean.juhls
- hahah, awe, she cares about you even if it comes off in an odd way.********
- Visit once in a while will likely mean every day, won't it? Or at least a phonecall.********
- No, it won't be every day. Trust me. It's a good thing I have lots of siblings...juhls
- Hahaha, the sibling buffer. My wife is one of five, I'm familiar w/ this buffer for sure.********
- I talk to my mom every couple of days at the absolute least to be honest after I moved out. Then again I'm a mama's boy.********
- haha, it's cool. I like mutual respect.juhls
- are you on drugs, jaline?********
- I'm 22...same thing, right?juhls
- Pretty much, yes.********
