    Im a little hungover today, maybe a beer and a shot too many last night. I was pondering if my reaction to the dude was over blown, then i started to think about other strange things he had said to me such as:

    him: how old are you?
    me: 29
    him: you don't look 29
    me: I know, get that from bouncers a lot, 30 in a few months though.
    him: well, you don't look 29
    me: i know
    him (while looking at me suspiciously): well, I'll take your word on it.

    'I'll take your word on it'? Why in the name of fuck would I lie to a complete stranger about what age I am? What purpose would that serve?
