tomkat,
yes they used swap depths. The cool thing is for example, that you can have a couple of MCs and you create "createEmptyMovieClip" and place it on level 1000 for example. Then you use swap depths to exchange depths of the clicked MC with the 'swapper' MC (the empty one). The active clip becomes the one of the highest level. Very useful. :)
