I used to do fair amount of 3d(product, architecture, interior) and probably the most easiest one I used was Rhino. I have used Form-z, AutoCad, Max and most recently C4D.
I haven't done much 3D in the past 6-8 yrs and it's so hard to get back in. I just can't do it like I used to. Like someone pointed out, you have to use it everyday to be really efficient. I know the fundamental so after a week or two, I get used to it and do fairly well. But yeah, if you are going to do it, you have to make a big commitment.
