    please! show your skills in typography and design, not the DOT.COM bullshit most kids come into interviews with, your knowledge of classic typgraphy, color theory, grids, etc. etc. the basics of design will gain respect and impress, there's a huge lack of kids that come out of school that understand what good design is and the difference from the crap that's generally on the internet. you don't necessarily HAVE to have the awesome work in your portfolio YET, but letting them know that you aren't a n00b and that you "get" what design is.. (problem solving, concepts not shit graphics)

    good luck, your identity work is really strong and it shows your maturity, focus on that.
