  When you render you edit from Premire, have you gone into export movie settings(choose the video tab) and set pixel aspect ratio to PAL or NTSC widescreen depending on the format you are working with.
  Then in AFter EFX import the movie selcet it and goto interpte footage under the file menu and set the Pixel aspect ration to PAL/NTSC widescreen.
