yay. how much do I fucking love it when you have a day off sick and return to work to find that the thing you've been working on, (trying to get to look as good as possible in tricky circumstances, for a client you have to fight and finesse all the way to stop them from destroying any hope at all that your work won't look thrown together and half arsed), has been cannibalised in your absence by another designer who has taken your visual and fucked it up in order to accommodate a third more pointless, droning content, on one page, and you now have to modify all the other pages to make them look "consistent" to this murdered version of your work.
And the worst thing is that this site is asking people to spend their money, and now it looks like such a dog's dinner that the chancces of anyone feeling comfortable plugging credit card details into it are now far slimmer.
Another project bites the fucking dust. Time and time again, over and over, nothing but this shit. 8 yuears of work in this office and there is not a single link I would put on a CV. No exaggeratiuon; every single project stamped into the ground either by A. shit clients ruining everything (standard gripe, fair enough), B. A knock it our fast for fuck a;ll cash ethic which harms our rep and portfolio fataly, or C. shoddy build from developers who not only have no eye for anything visual, but no desire to get anything right except the back end. The bit no one sees.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRG...
- and this is for arguably the biggest brand in the country. for whatever that's worth in a parochial backwater like this shitholekelpie
