Tough choice actually; they're both great amps and both sound completely different.
Where are you planning on playing? At home? Live shows with a band? If at home what kind of volume can you handle?
I think I would lean towards the Vox; I almost thought about getting one recently but instead got a Hot Rod Deluxe to play in stereo live alongside a Crate Vintage Club 30 reissue (which, btw, if you can find used, you'll get for cheaper than an AC30 and they are practically the same thing: same wiring, same tube arrangement, etc from what a guitar tech told me.
My live setup has evolved a bit, but the current setup with the crate and deluxe has sounded great. I run the gain channel on the crate, and the clean on the deluxe, lots of reverb on both. I'm loving it. We've got a show this Thursday and I can't wait to use this setup instead of my regular Fender Pro 185 and the Crate in stereo.
