Went for a drive on a glacier this weekend, and around 5km in and 1.5km up, this happened to both tires on the left side.
Took a good afternoon fixing it and getting down again
Turns out the air compresses quite a bit when it gets really cold = less tire pressure, that combined with already very low pressure to be able to drive on the glacier, made to tires pop off. Now you know that!
