sorry, but it doesn't sound like it's the network equipment's fault.
why blame the hardware and software that other people have not problem deploying?
it's like saying that because you can't drive it's the cars fault. or if you can't cook, it's the stoves fault.
i've never had a problem setting up a windows network or a unix/linux nfs network.
