I ted to agree with this comment on the website:
"When did we lose the distinction between a robot and a remote control device. A robot, or automaton, is a device which is capable of operating without intervention and is, necessarily, more complex than a simple remote control device which relies on human intelligence to succeed..."
The term "robot" is thrown around a little too loosely in some instances.
