I don't nessisarily agree with everything monNom says, but he does bring up good points.
I'm going to hit you from a little bit of usability. You have 4 sections. First off. I want to click on the names of the sections. (I'm not even readin the white yet, just first glance)
So I try and go straight to portfolio, but I don't see it, but I do see canvas, which indicates you're more of an art person, not as much design. I click on the title, but it's not clickable. After a second I figure you can click on the text, which isn't really intuitive. But I click on it to find that you have design. That's a little confusing. That page is in a pop up when it seems you have a decent amount of room to use on the parent page. Also the design of the pop up is not consistant with the design of the original page. So I finish with the portfolio and close. Then I go to 'about', but there is nothing to click. Is that a mistake, I'm a little confused. (just playing a user)
Then I go to news and find again, I can click on the text, not the title, and items pop up underneath the section, which again is inconsistant.
...okay, you get the idea. I'm sorry if that was a little tough, but I've been spending lots of time doing this kind of stuff for my job, so I hope you look at it as good critiquing and not insulting ^_^
From a design p.o.v. I think it's okay, the close tracked text on the light background is a little hard to read, maybe darken the bg a little, but that's it.
