I guess the question you should ask is 'could' it be offensive to someone. Clearly yes.
Just a crass creatively shit way of flogging a magazine that's on it's last legs because of the internet.
Anyone can be provocative is easy, just ask that dutch MP or a danish cartoonist.
Just a shame that we shit on our own doorstep/heritage/culture to sell stuff. Must be wittier/cleaver ways of selling stuff, that doesn't involve ripping up your on culture.
I think ironically the image looks like a woman with a curtain on her head
it's only when you add the logo. Go figure.
Ironically it first appeared in the Mexician edition, a ridiculously religious country, and their sales figures have never recovered since.
