define “shit”.
is it still cool to say shit? does it conceal anything for you, psychologically?
i would love to see people with guts on this board and dare to define one universal rule for what is good and what is bad, without being either prejudiced, narrow-minded or navelgazing.
i have seen design that does not meet many of the standards here, doing their work well and helping people on different levels achieve their goal.
lately, i have become to realize this ever more clearly. the rest is designers believing in their authorship and authority in defining what is aesthetically superior without being able to look at things in a broader sense.
