Hey Tom, you want to try watching a season of 24 in realtime, ie back to back nonstop. I did that with series 2 on DVD and you very quickly realise how utterly impossible it all is. Some character, lets say the president, will be getting on hs plane in Washington ten minutes before the end of an episode, the action will switch elsewhere for the last ten minutes and then five mintes into the next episode he'll get off the plane in the the middle east or something. The way they do it works seamlessly spread over weeks, but it fails when you watch it in realtime.

Also, it becomes very apparent when watching it in realtime that Jack Bauer would fall over and die after about five hours of nonstop torture with absolutely no water to drink, no food, and not a second's respite from hardcore physical activity. A human couldn't do what he allegedly does in that show.

So, there are no Jack Bauers out there in my opinion.

    • I watched the whole first series back to back.Jnr_Madison
    • Did you feel the same way ?
