once at a party in college. some friends and i went out back to smoke up. we were all pretty well drunk already. now, the garden we were in was off the side of the house and it went straight out and down 3 stone steps. on the way back inside. i took one step and just fell over. not lost my balance, not tripped, just fucking tipped over and didn't bother to right myself. i fell into a thorn bush and just laid there. i started yelling and basically convulsing cursing at the bush.
my friends were confused and stoned and couldn't figured out what had just happened. i couldn't explain but i told them i was stuck in this bush and i couldn't get out because of the stickers. someone had to help me. my friends were equal parts laughing and walking away. i was just sitting there helpless in this massive thorn bush, incapacitated because i was so convinced that i couldn't move that i wasn't even trying to stand up.
finally someone pulled my sorry ass out. and we went back inside.
in actuality the bush was only about a foot tall and 2 or 3 feet across.
