That's true, isn't it?
I was conversing last month with an old smart, hardworking conservative friend of mine who agreed that while the better man may have won the election, he refuses to see him as our Messiah. It was weird to hear, because in a way it was a prepackaged counter to an argument I never made. I think a lot of people are a little anxious about a new president with too much popularity or political capital.
