I've noticed these days that a lot of sites that need some sort of membership ID and such don't ask for that at first. They sort of ease you into it, and I always thought that was pretty smart.
It seems a lot of the current concept is based on "Join the force". It is bold and to the point, but I guess ultimately, will people want to join the force? If somebody wants a name, then yes, it makes sense to need an ID, email, etc... But for naming something, I can imagine somebody browsing around, thinking of a name for something, and *then* they are asked of ID and e-mail.
Just a thought. Designwise - I like the clean, structured, orange-accent layout.
