It's not about gun laws.
One of the last things that the Hitler SS did before marching the victims to labor camps was the seizing the citizen weaponry.
look it up.
They wouldn't have dared barge in to several tens of thousands of homes without the guarantee of an un-armed population.
Those ignorant of their history are doomed to repeat it.
