    hey texans - so I have a coworker who says in elementary school she recited the Texas State Pledge and state song after the Pledge of Allegiance.

    she was surprised to find out that we didn't do that in ohio - I think it's a ridiculous concept all together, but in my experience texans do think they're the center of the world

    any other states have to recite their state pledge? other texans have to do this?
