Or, just open the 'iTunes Library' file in text edit (or similar program) and select all and delete.
Start up iTunes and it will try to read the now empty file, then it will ask to rebuild the library based on the xml file so if this is ok, it'll keep all yer playlists etc sorted. Fucked up my iTunes at the weekend and spent most of Saturday doing this. Goddamn iTunes.
