    there is a constant noise coming from some undiscovered location on my floor. the only sound i can relate it to is a muffled power drill. it's weird though, because it's going off almost rhythmically and each time it's the exact same duration - about a second long. it sounds like some sort of futuristic iron lung whirring.

    it's unnerving and i can't find where it's coming from.
