    In my previous job we had inherited lots of shitty early 90's designs for a client who was huge. Every so often we'd get a request in to do some text updates and we'd go to this old junker of a mac running OS 8.6 retrieve some files from tape then open them to discover what wonderous work they wanted changed.

    I usually had to do them and there was inevitably some level of blended, feathered, filtered to fuck montage that needed an update. One job was great, every year there was an award and they wanted photos of winner to be blended into the previous winners and done up as a poster. It was really like making an omlette out of vomit.

    So in answer to your question, the only good montage is a training montage.
