I was in the beta test, pre open beta.. so I had the luxury of playing without the queues.
You download a plugin for your browser.. then you can play the game in the browser, or fullscreen..

the site itself keeps track of EVERYTHING and creates life-time stats for you, that all players can browse.an initial battle with Crash helps the game identify your skill level.. I did particularly well against crash but she beat 15-13.. which at that point.. she was impossible.
Other attempts against crash, didn't do nearly as well..
The graphics are as good as I remember quake 3 being.. and the players on the site itself are really good.. but friendly. They know its you're lag or that you almost had them that time.. they've heard it all.
But rocket splashes do almost no damage, yet, seem to propel you ridiculously far..
go do it.
