Dates are excellent snacks for people with a sweet tooth. They are not overly calorific, the sugars are (obviously) natural and natural sugars are good, they contian absolutely zero fat, and are packed with fibre, and yet shoving them into your mouth and chewing them is like eating a Mars Bars. Better than that in fact.
