    There's a complete lack of respect and consideraion for what we do. The fact that we get to 'play' around in frnt of a computer all day, doesn't mean this is a hobby. I know this field has its pros and cons, but hey, it's way better than some of the jobs I've seen out there. It is not as easy as it seams, and the lack of understanding makes students believe this is easy money. Schools like ITT only make things worse, and produce mediocre professionals that ....

    A. Recent graduate sucks, and only studied design/advertising because it seemed like the cool thing to do and because it 'justifies' a Mac. Does some shitty work for small print shops or Kinko's, and realizes he will never make it to a large or respectable agency or make any decent money by doing this. Quits, and ends up working on something else...

    B. Total hack, decided to pursue this career because he thinks of himself as an 'artist' and is better and hotter than anything out there. Only difference with guy A, is that this one has the money to live off 1 client a year and start his own studio. Go figure...
